About the Project
Greenbrier First Baptist Church recognized the urgent need for a website overhaul as their existing platform was outdated and no longer met their requirements. Despite the convenience of self-updating on Wix, the extensive number of pages hindered updates and necessitated a modern redesign.
The primary challenge for Greenbrier First Baptist Church was an outdated website with excessive pages, making navigation cumbersome. The website, hosted on Wix, offered ease of self-updating but had become a barrier due to its extensive and disorganized structure.
Our initial assessment revealed the need for a streamlined website with improved design and functionality. The excessive number of pages was reduced significantly from 108 to 22, enhancing the overall user experience. Recognizing the church’s preference for self-updating, we designed the new site to be easily editable, addressing their key concern.
The transformation was met with positive outcomes. The church not only received a visually improved website with a more intuitive layout but also a significant reduction in the number of pages. The key concern of ease of updating was addressed by creating a user-friendly content management system.
Feedback from the congregation highlighted the improved navigation and the website’s enhanced ability to disseminate timely updates. The streamlined design and simplified structure resulted in a more engaging online platform for the church community.
